epsilon is now part of the GNU Project

Item posted by Luca Saiu <positrone> on Tue 14 Jan 2003 11:01:10 PM UTC.

epsilon is now part of the GNU Project.

Work on epsilonlex has been temporarily suspended; we must first make the eAM work (generating both C and Scheme code), write the eAM linker, throw away the LVM, and then the epsilonlex frontend will be able to work with a reasonable user interface. The epsilonlex backend is already complete and working.

The eAM was greatly updated, especially to ease portability to CPUs different from PowerPC and x86.

Fixed some little portability issues in scripts.

Some little updates in documentation.
