Unplanned Savannah downtime
Item posted by Sylvain Beucler <Beuc> on Thu Nov 23 23:58:37 2006.
Tonight we restarted Savannah with an updated kernel and hit a BUG. Then rebooting via remote UPS access didn't work. And when looking at the date, it happened to be thanksgiving(!), so it was not as easy as usual to contact sysadmin@gnu.org and nobody would answer their phone! Eventually the machine was rebooted after 2h of downtime. Our apologizes for the inconvenience. Thanks to Justin for interrupting celebration to save SV :)
