Mailman web interface temporarily down

To allow the mail server to recover the e-mail backlog (due to the last week-end downtime) asap, the FSF sysadmins decided to turn the HTTP server down, which includes access to the Mailman administration. It was first stated at

Unfortunately we have not ETA yet - it apparently takes more time than expected.

However, Mailman was designed without HTTP interface in the first place, so you still can administer your mailing lists using the e-mail interface.

A good starting point to learn is There are also hints in the e-mails Mailman send to the list admins.

lists.[non] is running Apache again :)

It is my guess that the outage shouldn't last more than a few days. The machine load was 14 on monday, it is now 7, things are getting better.

Unfortunately the Savannah hackers do not have full privileges on so I cannot be more precise (like studying the number of mails in the backlog) :/
