Thanks for your report! Fixed in the latest release, 2.6.10.

READ-LINE fails on Windows by not waiting for input and has done this at least since December 2002. I had thought this was at the heart of recent trouble with SI::INFO but in fact not so.

Hold over until 2.7.0 I reckon.
