Well, this work on WindowMaker and Gnome, but not in Xfce. I think the problem is the xfce's feature "attraction between windows" that is enabled by default.

I can scroll items, when the mouse is at the bottom or at the top it will scroll, works for me.

I simply can't reproduce this. The only problem I see, is when the popupmenu is too long (more than the screen height) and you can't select the items at bottom, because you can't scroll to these items.

The problem seems to be intermittent, sometimes it works and stops working when scrolling begins, sometimes it doesn't work from the beginning.

At works, the long menu doesn't get drawn all with its items, but only a white or black square gets displayed (which appears to scroll and even blind selection of an item works)

In short popupmenus, when scrolling among items, the mouse highlights the item underneath.

In long opupmenus, which scroll down outside the screen, it does not happen, no highlight happens, even if at mouse release, the correct item gets selected.
