It also works on my Ubuntu system. I guess this is Mac specific (as indicated in the os-field).

works for me (Windows 7)

when I re-dock the command window, by clicking on the top-right corner button, it goes to the bottom of the the GUI (see screenshot attached); then I can drag it by its title bar to reposition in the editor/docs tabbed dock.

Reported by Michael C. Grant in bug #41093:

  • Startup config:
    • Command history / file browser in tabbed view on the left (command history focus)
    • Editor / command window in tabbed view on the right (command window focus)
  • Click the command window to undock
  • Re-dock it back into the Editor window

The crash report is attached.
