Hi Rosella,

In the past week, I have sent a couple of e-mails to your gmail account, but I haven't heard back.

Are you getting them? (Maybe check your spam folder.)

Oh, sorry, you mean it's already available? I thought it was a private beta or something. If you tell me where to download, I shall do it immediately and then report the results here.
I'm using Ubuntu.
Sorry, again.

Hi Rosella,

It isn't too hard to change the font used by the system.
(And of course you can always change it back.)
What operating system are you using?

I changed the title now, yes.

Hello Steve,

No problem, but this is an html, which means the output is dependent on the font installed on the system, I see no changes in output. It's because I'm using the last release.

Regards,

P.S.
I see you haven't changed the title yet.

Hi

We all have lapsii (?).

First, my test file started out with the wrong font :(. I replaced it.

Yes, the May 2012 version is the last release, but that is much older than the last development version.

I'll send you a link to the latest development snapshot, in which the problem in your image should be resolved.

Cheers!

Yes, I'm so sorry, it was a lapsus, it's Cyrillic "de", please change the title, I got it wrong.
Anyway, I attached my output of your test file, as you can see the bold version of Serbian "de" is faulty.
I checked my version and it's the May 2012 one, which should be the last one isn't it?
Serbian italic "de" should look like what's called - tell me if I'm mistaken - single-story g, the sans-serif one, to put it simply.

Hi Rosella,

I think I see what you're referring to.

If I'm right, this has already been fixed in the development versions.

My guess you mean the Cyrillic letter "de" rather than "ge".

My understanding is that in Serbian italic, the "de" should be represented as a letter that looks somewhat like a Latin letter 'g', but less curvy than the FreeSerif 'g'.

In the 2012 release, in bold italic, the "de" was mapped exactly to the Latin letter 'g' (although the alternative Serbian "de" glyph. which doesn't look quite the same, was present.) This was different from the medium italic mapping, and was later fixed.

If I'm wrong, please comment on the image

that appears in the Wikipedia page:

I attach a test file, which might make it easier to see what's going on.

Hello,

I've just noticed the bold italic glyph for SMALL SERBIAN GE looks just like a bold italic SMALL LATIN G, which is incorrect. The italic glyph is correct, though.
