It due to the colon, sure. So it's linked to bug #40796. If I correctly understand, TeXmacs use ':' to separate urls like in a path definition. Again, I think some escaping mecanism should be done.

The problem is most probably due to the handling of colons by the url routines. I think I did some work on that but I don't know if I ever committed it...
