A similar problem is present with MacOS 10.8.

Under Ubuntu 12.10, if a texmacs windows is open and the user tries to log out, then it closes texmacs but the system stops to logout. One has to log out again.
It appears as if texmacs catch the logout signal but do not resend it to other applications.

The problem is the same when one tries to shut down the system.
