If you want to give the below a try, but hate not remembering what your thoughts were at critical positions, just use the Commentary feature. This is especially valuable when saving positions, but can also be useful during a game.

Not to criticize your request, but you might find it even more useful to wait until you completely forget about the game. I know how tempting it is to see how you did in the eyes of the bot, but immediately analyzing the game or match has the disadvantage of letting you know that your play was wrong. In other words, it's like working on quiz problems but for each position, one action is flagged as incorrect. That's especially frustrating if it's a cube decision or there is only one other good move.

Many people use gnubg as a learning tool, and half the fun is not just in winning, but in seeing how well you played.

When I play, I almost always analyse the games to see how I did, and like to do this at the end of each game, while it is still fresh in my mind, rather than at the end of the match.

I can do this, but it is somewhat laborious to select the previous game, select analyse, re-select the next game, bypass dialog about "There must be a game in progress to set a player on roll".

I would like an option to automatically analyse the game before starting the next one, and a GUI button to start the next game with 1 click when I have finished analysing.
