Was the explanation clear enough? Any updates?

the result needs to go into the application plist. Please check the ExampleService plist in the examples for an idea.

I attach a grab of PB. It shows the extended editor, in the upper part we see siblings added through the GUI, like ProjectCenter, in the second part the NSService was manually added by using the simple editor.

More generally I think it shall be possible to add "extra" plist entries for which the user-friendly panels don't give provision.

Hi, Riccardo.

What plist are you talking about? Is it Info-gnustep.plist? Is it PC.project?

P.S.: I don't have Mac and Mac OS X.

ProjectBuilder allows graphical editing of the plist dictionary, allowing to add entries which are not readily set by its interface.

Specifically, I have the need to add NSSerivces dictionaries.

The Problem is further aggravated by the fact that if one modifies the plist entries by hand, PC will overwrite the file, making it unpratical.

Maybe a quick and dirty solution would be to have a text area were to paste a snippet of the plist, but of course an editor like on Mac is better.

THe PB editor has an NSOutline editor where the plist tree can be inspected and each line has a key and value field with a pop up specifying the type (string, dictionary, array,, etc)
