When using a font which features old ligatures (e.g. ‘st’, one for ‘st’), those are enabled by default, so every instance of ‘st’ has an extra antique line connecting the two letters. This is the case for the ‘Linux Libertine’ font, for example. (See the attached image.) I would prefer to turn them off for some documents, but haven't found an option for this in the user interface.

Maybe we can implement attributes for fonts to deal with this and other similar typesetting options (like old numbers, etc...).
