Currently when right to left languages are input into TexMACS, they are still displayed left to right and therefore appear backwards.
A simple solution would be a way to mark a region as right to left or left to right. A better solution would be to implement the Unicode BIDI algorithm [1].
Another related but slightly orthogonal consideration is how to specify different fonts for different languages. The LaTeX package polyglossia [2] provides good support for this, and it is important because most fonts do not contain all of the characters necessary for all languages.
