Declined. A package needs ONE build system, not TWO build systems (autoconf+automake+make and cmake).

If your suggestion was to drop the autoconf+automake+make based build system, then it's also a NO, for the reasons listed in https://blogs.gnome.org/swilmet/2012/09/05/switch-from-cmake-to-autotools/

CMake becomes more and more important for libraries and projects. Please add some CMake scripts, which helps compiling the project under many more platforms (eg. nmake).
It should not be difficult for such a small project as libiconv.
