I had a short lokk and CTidy seems to be a small Objective-C wrapper around the better known libtidy or TidyLib (http://tidy.sourceforge.net/). The problem with that library is that it hasn't seen an update in the last few years.
Apart from that using this library looks fine to me. Please go ahead and do so.
I don't think that the CTidy wrapper will be of much use for us.

I've found that such options as NSXMLDocumentTidyHTML are not supported yet. This functionality is very necessary for me and looking at CTidy (on GitHub) it seems to be quite easy to add
