OK. Thanks, I pushed this. Until I hear that MINGW is broken, I won't try to fix it.

Can you try the attached patch?

I think it should solve the problem, but I can't test it myself because I don't have a MS windows platform.

I'm not sure if the #define _WIN32_ macro is correct.  You may have to experiment a bit.

After an analyze, the output is visible in an output window. The same information can be found in the file psppire.txt. When the output window is closed, the file psppire.txt is locked until psppire is closed. A second analyze is not possible, most likely because the file psppire.txt is locked by psppire itself.

I can only reproduce this on the MS-Windows platform.
