The Mingw version doesn't have this problem and I guess it will not be fixed on Cygwin version, since it's probably a problem with emulation of X, or other piece.

We have been informed that the issue of not being able to copy/paste is solved by building under Mingw instead of Cygwin.

These are 2 unrelated isssues. The issue of the locked output file raised bij "Anonymous" is solved with version 0.6.1. The point of not being able to copy/paste to output still exists.

For my installation (WinXP) the contents of the Output window after the first analysis can be found in psppire.txt here:

C:\Documents and Settings\[user]\Local Settings\Temp\psppire.txt

and which can be opened by such as Windows Notepad.

If this is not renamed before the next analysis (to say psppire1.txt), then no more analyses seem to be possible unless PSPP Windows is closed and re-started.

Conducting a 2nd analysis without first renaming psppire.txt leads to an "Access is denied" error when opening with Notepad.

Currently, the output viewer doesn't have any clipboard support.  When running under X, you can use the primary selection for cut/paste.  In the next incarnation of the output subsystem, one of the requirements should be reliable clipboard operation.

Right. This is a problem of the windows port. No idea how to solve it yet.

A workaround:
In the windows temp directory you can find the file psppire.txt wich is a copy of the output screen. You can work on this file with notepad etc.

Using Psppire 0.6.0 on Windows XP, I am unable to copy the statistical output.  I highlight the output and copy and when I paste nothing is pasted.  I have tried copying with Control-C, by right-clicking a selection and choosing "Copy".
