If I open the following file content with TeXmacs, the "assign" inside the "hide-preamble" does not appear in the editor. Moreover when typing '\' and 'a' insiede the "hide-preamble" block, the cursor unexpectedly goes just before the "hide-preamble" block .

Corresponding source code
The behaviour is indeed counterintuitive, but I do not really see the point of using a preamble in source style. This style is really used for style files in which case the main document is some kind of preamble on its own.
For this reason, I am not going to do anything about this problem.
