Wed 16 Apr 2014 08:31:51 AM UTC, comment #2: The for loop [for (; j > 0; j--)] did not look for any item when j was zero: when the user clicked on the very first item in the list of shortcuts in the two bottombars. It accidentally worked for most menus, because the very first ("default") item in the list of functions is "Get Help".

But clicking multiple times on "Cut Text" and then on "Uncut Text" pastes only the last cut line -- whereas when multiple key-strikes of ^K are followed by a click on "Uncut Text", all cut lines are pasted back. |

Start nano with --mouse, click on "Get Help", and then click on "Next Page" -- nothing happens. Click on "Prev Line" -- it does a Next Page. Click on "Next Line" -- it does a Prev Line. Click on "Exit" -- it does a Next Line.

The second part (the misbehaving of the shortcuts that come after Speller/Linter) is fixed by r4848 in SVN. The third part I will make into a separate bug, because it is a rather different issue.
