This seems to be a problem with certain graphics drivers.  GNUBG correctly redraws the screen but a split-second later it’s redrawn a second time ignoring not only the task bar but most of the final line.

In some cases you can resolve it by using a different font.  Verdana, Lucida or Tahoma works best, using size 10 for 768 vertical resolution.  With a higher resolution screen you can either go larger or set DPI to something more than 96.

If that fails, you can always force a (correct) redraw of the screen by downsizing/minimizing and then maximizing it.  And if that’s undesirable you can auto-hide the taskbar (repositioning it to the side or top won’t solve the problem).

Workaround (both XP and Win7) is to minimize and restore the screen.  But note that this isn't practical with one of Full Screen's best uses - when reviewing a session, activate it, use <ctrl><shift><down> to retrieve the next position, then deactivate it to see the analysis.  Although that sequence is unaffected, you can no longer take a peek at the pip counts since they're obliterated when you exit Full Screen mode.

When reviewing a saved session, after using F11 to enter full-screen mode, when you exit it some match information is lost near the bottom of the screen since the screen seems to have be resized a bit too large.

This started with the 1.0 release.
