I was mistaken - when the Default Tagline is deleted and no other instated then you get LilyPond's default tagline, not something Denemo created from exportlilypond.
I agree the handling is messy, but it shouldn't be causing a problem: if you create a tagline - even a blank one - then it takes effect.
And you can delete the Default Tagline (for a custom layout, e.g. if you want LilyPond's default) using the score layout view (under Scorewide Settings, the X button on Default Tagline).
It sounds like there is some bug with taglines that have a link (the Source file at... type) as they should not be in there separately. Workaround: use one or the other, not both.
I have removed the confusing ability to edit the \score{} blocks in the LilyPond view as it is not being reflected back onto the score layout view. Editing should be done in the score layout view.

hmm, I think the exportlilypond.c routine must be still outputting the default tagline all by itself, as it appears even when you have deleted it for a custom layout.
I'll look into this.

Sorry guys, the bit about backslash in filenames being treated as directives is my problem - wrong titling-init.ly.

However there is still a less minor problem in that denemo is hiding the default tagline. When you use Score->Title->Tagline for the first time, you are not editing the default tagline, you are creating a new one in the same header block. In fact it is possible  to have 3 taglines in the header: default one, one with link, and one without link. For those of us who are used to looking at .ly file, it is easy know which one will work.
When there are 3 tagline, a user showing "Titles, Butons etc" view will see button for tagline, another saying "Source file at ..." and the default one would be invisible.
I think
1) Default tagline should be treated as any other tagline.
2) There should be only one tagline in a header block.

The tagline can be edited using Score->Titles->Tagline
but the better way is (or rather, will be) via the View->Score Layout->Scorewide Settings. Here you can edit the default tagline, though I see that you can only do that for a customized layout, so this needs fixing.
I think I can create a special menu for the button that sets Titles that will include the tagline setting commands.

This one (or at least parts of it) is probably windows specific.
There seems to be a new default tagline introduced in this release (or at least since the last Windows release -0.9.0).
This contains the name of the .denemo source file, time and date. In Windows the directory names are separated by backslashes and Lilypond is trying to interpret the directory names as directives.

I am having a lot of trouble trying to get rid of this tagline. It does not show up on the Titles, Buttons etc menu, it does not show up on the under Edit Score Directives and adding a new tagline (with or without link) does not overwrite it. I have been unable to find this in any initialisation files. You do appear to be able to delete it with the Lilypond View window but it comes back again more or less straight away.
As a result I am unable to print
