If it was fixed in repository it's fixed in already released versions.

This is actually a bug in Vim.  However, there is still a bug where "altscreen on" in Screen still has the bleed, whereas it would not show up despite the bug in Vim on your normal terminal program.

This screen bug is present in the 4.0.3 stable version, but is fixed with the current git repository as of this writing.

Many thanks sadrul for his excellent cooperation!

Hi,

When editing a file in Vim without screen, it clears the screen after I exit Vim as well as resets the colour code for the terminal.

In screen, however, it does not clear the screen, nor resets the colour code.

I only noticed this after I changed my colour scheme in Vim to something that has a background colour.  Since it doesn't happen in Vim when screen isn't running, I think it might be something relevant to this bug tracker here.

Pic included!

My screen version: Screen version 4.00.03jw4 (FAU) 2-May-06 (I didn't see this version in the dropdown)

Setup: Putty 0.61 on Win7 x64
