Thanks for your work on this Rudolf.  I am running Win 7 64 bit and Nvidia GeForce GTS 240 and can confirm problem and solution.

Hi Jon,
thanks for this suggestion. I checked again the different settings in my control board of the graphic card for GNUBG and found one parameter which I set off and now it works. I found this by trying every possible parameter set off/on and it was the one which is called "threaded optimation". It says to switch off for older applications and I did. The speed is 60 frames/second.
Thanks

I've just tried gnubg with windows 7 64bit and it works without any issues for me.  If you open your graphics card options and adjust (disable) the opengl settings (you can probably change the settings just for gnubg), you will probably be able to get things running.

Updating the graphics card driver is a valid fix for this kind of issue.

Jon

Hi Christian,
are you kidding me?

I tried this 3D GNU board with a brand new Sony VAIO hi end laptop and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M works with the latest available driver. I run also the Extreme Gammon BG tool with 3D boards and it works very well. So please don't try to shift your problems to other ones.

Thanks

Most likely it is a graphics driver or library problem outside our control. Try upgrading your graphics drivers.

Hi,
to use any 3D board is not possible for me because it doesn't work properly. Sometimes no dices or the dices didn't finish rolling. Sometimes the tiles freeze at movement. The preview of any board doesn't appear.
I use W7 Ultimate 64bit with core i7 and GeForce GT 330M.
Thanks
Rudolf Aigner
