Hi,

Acct is a very nice piece of software, but in the light of new
requirements such as those of the Payment Cards Industry for example,
there is an ever growing need for accounting information that can be
closely followed and monitored, and also known to be secure and that
its integrity hasn't been compromised.

I've been working on a small perl script that deals with sending
process accounting data to a syslog server. While I know it's still
not quite as stable as it should (and written in Perl, not C), are
there any plans for such a feature to be integrated in acct?

/ Matt
