This was caused by an uninitialized variable in the inspector.  It was causing the flags to be set improperly.   This has been fixed in CVS.

This problem will prompt another release of Gorm tonight or tomorrow.

I will make an announcement when the application is released.

I have recreated this problem.   This is likely a problem in NSWindow.  I will investigate. Thanks and good catch.

Sorry, I meant control as in "Controls" as in "Minituarize/Close/Resize Bar".

Please be more specific.   What do you mean by "deactivate" a control of your choice?

I assume you mean to click on something on the NSWindow inspector.  I did that, this doesn't cause the window to "disappear" on Linux.  I'm going to test on FreeBSD in a moment, but, in the meanwhile, please elaborate.

It doesn't matter whether you reactivate them, the window will be gone regardless, both in testruns and in actual applications. Found in Gorm 1.0.1 and CVS (2005-12-18) on FreeBSD/x86 6.0, gcc 3.4.4 [FreeBSD] 20050518, gnustep-base-1.11.1, gnustep-gui-0.10.1, gnustep-back-0.10.1, xorg-6.8.2.
