Furthermore, it could be even triggered simply by loading the attached tm file test.tm.

I can confirm this, and it has nothing to do with how the dots are inputted (I input three dots via inputting two dots . .).

I can also reproduce this without tabular, and in inline math, as long as ldots is the first symbol in a math environment (so for example, if there is something like ",...,", removing the first comma will also trigger a segfault).

The Texmacs editor will crash and throw a segfault when the user types `\ldots` followed by a comma `,` in certain environments -- specifically within a tabular environment nested in an unnumbered equation.

Error produced on:
  - KDE neon 5.25, running Texmacs version 2.1.1 installed via latest .deb I could find

How to reproduce:
  - Load any document (works with a blank document)
  - Enter an unnumbered equation via `\[`+[Return]
  - Enter a tabular environment via `\tabular`+[Return]
  - Type `\ldots,`  (the editor will crash on entering the comma)

Workaround:
  - Typing `,` followed by `,` will trigger the macro that will fill in the pattern `,\ldots,`.  But removing the first comma will reproduce the editor crash.

This workaround isn't entirely satisfactory, since the user can easily accidentally paste from Latex code that contains the `,\ldots,` pattern.
