Weird wrap of curly bracket around "\left(" and "\right": \left( - 1 {\right)^S} that causes compilation errors. It only appears in multi-line equations, as seen in the example. For Displayed formula, there's no error for the LaTeX conversion. |

I see. Thanks for the pointer to this "hidden" feature!
For me it makes sense to remove them automatically (we don't notice them, especially in a long document). Or maybe issue a warning for incorrect formulas before conversion, since I really couldn't spot them using the default settings and I just assume that it's the converter's fault.
BTW, I notice some conversion errors with the conservative conversion to LaTeX (kind of painful to work with LaTeX coauthors :(). Maybe I will raise another ticket when I have time.
