I didn't mean to sound critical, I'm sorry if it sounds like this. Obviously, TeXmacs can't handle everything LateX can do. The .tex import/export is in my opinion already very very good.
However, this whish to partially support the latex beamer class is, I think, certainly shared by many other users or could broaden the growing user base with a simplified import / export of beamer slides.
All the more easily since the edition of this type of document (slides) is where TeXmacs could shine even more with its WYSIWYG paradigm versus the classic compilation cycle of .tex -> pdf.
Anyway, many thanks for this awesome software !
