Corresponding source code
The attached screenshot shows a selected region that is mostly in text format, but which contains a math expression in which the cursor is positioned.
I wanted to apply the "highlight" tag to this selection but it is not available from the focus bar, as TeXmacs has decided that the focus is math (corresponding to the cursor position) and not text (corresponding to the selection). I am not sure how the cursor ended up in the math expression when I dragged the mouse to select.
I feel that the focus should be decided based on the selection and not based on the cursor position, as the actions from the focus bar are going to apply to the selection and not to the cursor position (I am not entirely sure that this rule should always apply, please check).
