The View/Show ID cancel then save with the game screen where I want it did the trick.  Thank you.

Dragging the gnubg window to the place you want and triggering a settings auto-saving (for instance toggling View/Show ID in status bar off and on should do this). Maybe if the window is maximized you need to un-maximize it first, move it to the screen you want it to be, then re-maximize it.

Note that gnubg doesn't detect the 2 screens, it sees them as one large display area that is the combination of both screens.
For instance, with 2 1920x1080 screens, the left one is coordinates 0:0 to 1919:1079 and the right one is 1920:0 to 3839:1079

This may cause issues for instance if you use it on a laptop screen when the machine is alone and on an external screen when it is connected in a docking station. Is this your use case ?

I have 2 screens, and gnubg opens in the 2nd screen. How do I get it to open in the home screen?
