Tue 05 May 2020 09:28:33 AM UTC, comment #1: Try to delete (or rename away) the ~/.TeXmacs directory. Maybe some cache file is corrupted for some reason (sometimes it happens after a crash)

TeXmacs is simply amazing - I used it as a front-end for R and Scheme code and it worked as magic until I closed it...
