These translations have been grafted to stable now.

Closing as fixed. If translators want to submit other languages they can be sent as separate bug reports or patches.

Thanks for the translations.  It is just documentation.  Personally, I vote for not being so conservative with adding useful documentation and would like to see them in Octave 5 already ;-)

I pushed the patch to default here:
http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/7a4cc07905ce

I pushed a subsequent patch that adds the localized strings to the DOAP file here:
http://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/570170dc46e5

Do we want to graft these to stable? Or better wait for the next release?

I attached the patch from comment #1 extended with French translations.

I've changed Wurzeln to Nullstellen, since AFAIK, that's the more widely used term.

Alexanderw supplied a German translation for the appdata in bug #55279.
Re-uploading the patch here that adds it to appdata.xml.
Can someone please check if this is the right syntax? I tried to replicate what I found here [1].

Should that description (and translations) also be added to octave.doap?
