To reproduce, run:

  nano --ignore --locking README

and type: ^O xxx <Enter> Y

Then, in another terminal, list the .*swp files -- it shows a .README.swp file, not a .READMExxx.swp one.  And, if you edit the current buffer and use ^S to save the changes, the
.README.swp file gets updated -- which is clearly wrong.

(This bug is related to bug #47975 -- a newly created file not getting a lock file.)
