Fixed in git, commit 83747551.

To reproduce, run nano and type:

  <Esc> <Esc> 111
  <Esc> <Esc> 2t
  <Esc> <Esc> 11

The first three-digit code produces an "o", as it should.  The second sequence is cut short because a non-digit is entered, and thus produces "t".  But then the third sequence produces a result after only two digits: "Ó", as if the code 211 had been entered.

Expected behavior: whenever a three-digit code is "aborted" by some invalid input, the internal state should be fully reset, so that a new double escape needs to be followed by three digits and produces the correct character.

(Bug was found by code inspection.)
