Hi,

You can simply apply the patch from master to your working directory. I haven't tested it, but it should work just fine. There aren't many changes to that part of the codebase.

Very soon we'll have a new version released with these fixes.

Hi Darshit.  I'm the guy who reported this bug to Noël Köthe/Debian.

It looks like this bug fix will be in the next release. Would it be possible to patch 1.19.2? I've downgraded, and that seems to be a fine workaround for the sgfxi script that the bug affected, but the script dev isn't convinced, and we're trying to address a couple of issues, and would like to check this one off the list.

Thanks.  Chris M

Thanks for the report.

I've pushed a change with commit 973c26ed which should resolve the issue

It 1.19.2 but the bugtracker lists 1.19.1 as latest version.

Hello,

a forwarded bug report from https://bugs.debian.org/813158 (2. report) which I can reproduce:

--8<--
A full discussion is at http://techpatterns.com/forums/about2621.html

Running the sgfxi script after installing wget 1.19.2-1 produces the following segfault:

# wget -O - smxi.org/sm/sm-versions
--2017-11-04 14:23:41--  http://smxi.org/sm/sm-versions

Segmentation fault

4 people are reporting the exact same error. I'm not getting
this segfault with 1.19.1-4

Thank you.
