This script has been updated in Unifont 11.0.01. Combining code points are still in plane01-combining.txt.

U+11A51 SOYOMBO VOWEL SIGN I and U+11A54 SOYOMBO VOWEL SIGN E should be wider, to stretch all the way across consonants.

U+11A52 SOYOMBO VOWEL SIGN UE and U+11A53 SOYOMBO VOWEL SIGN U should be narrower and shifted left to make room for final consonants.

U+11A58 SOYOMBO VOWEL SIGN AU should touch its consonant.

U+11A59 SOYOMBO VOWEL SIGN VOCALIC R and U+11A5A SOYOMBO VOWEL SIGN VOCALIC L should curl more.

U+11A5B SOYOMBO VOWEL LENGTH MARK should protrude from the bottom of the stems of consonants. Also, it should have a combining glyph.

The left-side lump of U+11A5E SOYOMBO LETTER GA should not be so pointy.

There should be a gap between the stems and the triangles of U+11A5E SOYOMBO LETTER GA, U+11A5F SOYOMBO LETTER GHA, and U+11A82 SOYOMBO LETTER HA.

U+11A60 SOYOMBO LETTER NGA is squished. It should look more like U+11A5E.

There should be a gap between the bottom of the triangle and the top of the central vertical stroke in U+11A6A SOYOMBO LETTER NNA.

The elements below the swooshes of U+11A71 SOYOMBO LETTER PHA and U+11A73 SOYOMBO LETTER BHA should be raised to make room for vowel signs.

The cluster-initial letters U+11A86 through U+11A89 are too big, are not positioned correctly, and should combine with the next glyph.

The final consonants U+11A8A through U+11A94 should be shifted right to touch the stem of consonants. Some should be made narrower to make room for vowel signs. U+11A95 SOYOMBO FINAL CONSONANT SIGN -A should similarly be shifted left.

U+11A96 SOYOMBO SIGN ANUSVARA should be shifted left to be more centered.

There is insufficient blank space in a consonant glyph for both U+11A97 SOYOMBO SIGN VISARGA and a post-base vowel sign, so the visarga should be given a spacing glyph.

U+11A98 SOYOMBO GEMINATION MARK should be lower, to make room for vowel signs and because it should not be so much higher than the frame triangle.

Whereas U+11A99 SOYOMBO SUBJOINER has a glyph of a large plus sign following the stem, I suggest it have a small plus sign below the nucleus. I think it looks more consistent with the subjoiner plus signs in other scripts. The glyph is totally arbitrary so it doesn’t much matter, though.

U+11A9A SOYOMBO MARK TSHEG, U+11A9B SOYOMBO MARK SHAD, and U+11A9C SOYOMBO MARK DOUBLE SHAD should be less bold and only be 8 pixels wide.

With these changes, unibmp2hex should not hard-code the widths of Soyombo.
