This concerns the video package

A call to aviread such as:
yields the same result for frameNum=1, frameNum=2, frameNum=3...up to frameNum=9. Only when frameNum=10, a new frame gets loaded(the actual frame 10). It is almost like aviread discretizes the framenumber very coarsely?

My videofile is a *.mp4 recorded at 30 fps.

Thank you!
