David,

I will try your second suggestion, as it does not involve repositioning all other Marchen glyphs:

Thank you,

Ignore my suggestion for U+11CA9. It won’t work if any combining character follows the ya. I can think of two possible replacements.

The glyph could be squished up against the right edge. This might look better if all the other Marchen glyphs but U+11CB4 were shifted left one pixel.

The glyph could be taken from a different style of Marchen, called “Source B” in the Unicode proposal (http://www.unicode.org/L2/L2013/13197-marchen.pdf#page=7), where the glyph goes below the base.

U+11C75 MARCHEN LETTER NGA is off center, and U+11C81 MARCHEN LETTER MA and U+11C85 MARCHEN LETTER WA are unnecessarily wide.

The bottom part of the current glyph of U+11C88 MARCHEN LETTER -A looks like an ⟨H⟩. It should look more like a ⟨Π⟩.

U+11CA5 MARCHEN SUBJOINED LETTER WA and U+11CAA MARCHEN SUBJOINED LETTER RA should connect to the right stem of the base.

U+11CA9 MARCHEN SUBJOINED LETTER YA currently overlaps the base character illegibly. There is no room for it to be a combining character, so the glyph suggested below assumes it is removed from plane01-combining.txt. My suggestion adds a one-pixel space between the base consonant and the subjoined ya; it would be easy to fix that by adding a single pixel to the left of the left edge of the glyph, but Unifont doesn’t support combining glyphs with positive advance width.

U+11CB0 MARCHEN VOWEL SIGN AA should be the subjoined form of U+11C88 MARCHEN LETTER -A.

The vowels U+11CB1 through U+11CB4 are all slightly off.
