In FreeMono and FreeMono Bold, the kasrah overlaps the tail of the isolated form.

Hi,

I fixed the last case you mentioned in serif.

That fixed it for initial and medial, but now the kasrah overlaps the letter’s tail in the isolated form, in regular and bold.

Hi,

A mark anchor was missing.  I looked for similar things both in regular and bold, but didn't see any.  Let me know if you see more!
Fix in SVN.

Most of those problems were solved during the past year. Kasrah is still positioned too high under the initial and medial forms of U+076F in FreeSerif.

The letter itself looks good now, but not with harakat. For example, kasrah is positioned too high under:

  • the final form in FreeMono
  • the final form in FreeMono Bold
  • the initial and medial forms in FreeSerif
  • the final form in FreeSerif Bold

Hi David,

Yes, these are all kind of at the limit of the mechanism I set up.
Maybe it would be better to apply more mark anchors, but ... one tries to keep it simple.

I fiddled with the positioning.  Let me know if it's adequate.

Thanks!

In FreeMono, the dots in the isolated and final forms of U+076F overlap the tail.

In FreeSerif, the ascender of the tah in the initial, medial, and final forms of U+076F overlaps the head.
