Fri 24 Jun 2016 04:14:57 PM UTC, comment #1: Yes, for some reason clearing the cache is not enough to catch all the fonts. You'll get more fonts by evaluating (font-database-build-local) in a scheme session. While this command is being executed you can see on the console output which fonts are processed. |

Some of the truetype fonts that I have installed in ~/.TeXmacs/fonts/truetype are not in font-database.scm after regenarting the font database (I have used 'texmacs --delete-font-cache -q').

TeXmacs has a semi-automatic database which lists the supported fonts and several font characteristics (making it possible to perform meaningful font substitutions). The (font-database-build-local) command extends the database with extra fonts found on your system, but does not perform any manual twiddling that is sometimes appropriate. If there is a freely available font database that you think should be supported, then please send us an URL (I have no time for managing individual fonts though).
