The .Xdefaults method itself is working for other programs and it had been working for an older version of XBoard (I don't remember the number but it was the one before „Auto-InputBox PopUp“ was introduced) in my new system. And as to why I want to alter the default binding, I never can remember which F-key does what. That's why I have been using 'd' for draw 'r' for rematch and 'q' for resign (mnemonic „quit“) for many years. Especially if you are under time pressure and want to claim a draw by repetition you need to be fast.

Hm, I don't seem to be able to get this to work. I changed my ~/.Xdefaults accordingly, ran „xrdb -override < ~/.Xdefaults“, checked with „xrdb -query“ but no luck.

Hi,
I recently upgraded to Version 4.7.3 from a much older Version and now my keyboard shortcuts don't work anymore. It seems the code for vanished completely from the source. ResignProc for instance can only be found in the three files xboard.info, xboard.texi and xboard.man. So can you please make shortcuts configurable again?
Thanks
