The miscellaneous package seems to be building fine with mxe-octave, either with --enable-binary-packages or not, so I don't think there's a bug here.

The build tools should be able to work with packages regardless of the name of the directory in the package tarball.

The octave-forge miscellaneous-1.2.1 package has the version number appended to its package directory.

This leads to problems when "building" it with MXE, as the MXE build tools do not expect a package name with version number appended to it.
