Sat 14 Sep 2013 08:32:04 AM UTC, comment #2: Openssl compilation is ok with the switch zlib-dynamic, zlib is now installed but wget not found it, maybe the package *.pc is missing. I try to install the lfs system with the jhbuild tool, so well that some package aren't properly installed suite a bug with the switches libdir, bindir and override prefix into jhbuild.	branciat <messius>

Wed 21 Aug 2013 06:59:13 PM UTC, original submission: the compilation failed with the switch --with-ssl=openssl if zlib not installed, in the config.log, the error is : ld cannot find option -lz I try also --with-ssl=openssl --without-zlib and failed Version of wget : 1.14	Anonymous
