This could be related to bug #40672. However, I have the impression that the bug disappeared for the particular widgets mentioned by Michael. I therefore close this bug.

When I insert an image from the menu, TeXmacs loses foxus, and one has to click on
the window to be able to edit again. This also happens on other dialogs,
e.g. Insert->Link->include
