I think so, IIRC last autumn Eloi fixed it, and I think since 1.1.6 the fix is contained in released versions.

From duplicate #40878, commit e73202134bfccbf78a958938d5c14147424cd32f should have fixed this.

I can confirm this on Fedora 18.
./configure --disable-portmidi && make solves compilation issues.

This is really and issue in configure.ac which checks for portmidi and then adds -lportmidi and -lporttime to the LIB list. In fedora libportmidi and porttime.h exist in version 217 of portmidi, but libporttime does not. Linking without the -lporttime works.

A better check is required as to whether libporttime is required.
