Fixed for me. I'm closing report, but note bug #38579 which is related and still open.

Not present on the stable branch. Probably another hiccup with the interpreter overhaul.

But hey, if we can't break things on the dev branch, then where can we? ;-)

I don't think this bug is a duplicate of bug #38560.

This one applies to the parser which ignores a multi-line comment if its beginning is preceded by a single-line comment. Bug #38560 applies to the editor of the gui where all multi-line are ignored by the syntax highlighting.

The multiline comment commenting is ignored and the parser tries to execute the commented lines.

The same thing happens with the #{ #} multiline comment.

In matlab, it appears to work as expected.
