This ancient bug is a failure to find the LilyPond typesetter. The path can be set in the preferences.

the "user" path in german windows 7 also "Users", but in the explorer it is displayed as "Benutzer" - change the path to "Users" and check if ".denemo" exists and if its writeable

Please close this ticket. I've deinstalled the application. To many problems with the german windows. It seems to be that I18N does not work. Maybe the ß in my lastname could be the problem. But I've not time at the moment to debug this. Sorry.

Got this error message:

starting to generate LilyPond

finished generating LilyPond

    • (denemo-console.exe:1772): WARNING **: Cannot open C:\Users\Peter Heß\.denemo

    • (denemo-console.exe:1772): WARNING **: Failed to find C:\Users\Peter Heß\.den

emo\denemoprint.pdf, check permissions

Reason: On a German Windows 7 the default "user" path is " Benutzer. Changed this in Preferences->Externals->Default Save Path to: C:\Benutzer\Peter Heß. Nothing changed. Restarted denemo!

Error still exists.
