Bugs #1, #3 and #5 have been fixed.

Bug #2 is a feature: for many scripting languages, we want to be able to evaluate mathematical formulas, which are entered using $ inside a script-input.

I will open a separate bug for #4.

Item #3 was fixed some time ago. Item #5 is fixed in SVN 6059. Item #4 isn't exactly obvious: we must find some subset of the shortcuts which applies for widgets and activate texmacs handling of keys for them.

1. Fixed in SVN rev 4731.

2. What is script-input mode? And I don't understand the shortcut...

I noticed a couple of problems with keybinding in the latest verion (svn Jul 30,2011)

1.
inside session modes, $ key starts math mode, it should just insert $.
I tried shell, scheme, R.

2.
Inside script-input mode, (you get there with M-*!) the keys $, \, and " should just insert themselves - as in a session. In general, I think that the binding inside a script should be exactly as in a session.

3.
Delete key deletes the selected region if something is selected in the text, but this doesn't work in sessions - there instead the selected region is unselected, and a single character is erased.

4.
This is probably only for the qt version on OSX:
The emacs bindings ctl-A ctl-E ctl-k ctl-y work in general in OSX. (for start/end of line, delete to end, yank). In TeXmacs dialogues these keys do not work. Even when look-and-feel is emacs. I think teXmacs should try to keep keybindings working in dialogues as much as possible.

5.
In addition, since the above keys work by default on a mac in almost every application, I think they should work i nTeXmacs in the editor, even when look-and-feel is not emacs.
