Go to Data > Select Cases. Use some variable as filter variable (in example of attachment - "aaa"). Select to filter not selected cases. Result:


FILTER

.11-18: error: FILTER: filter_$ is not a variable name.


So PSPPIRE try use filter_$ instead of aaa.
