Since the bug reporter has disappeared, we don't have enough details to reproduce the problem, and John Darrington suspects that this has been fixed, I'm closing this bug.

This is most likely a duplicate of bug #30389 which has since been fixed.

More details please.  For example, can you give an example of syntax that causes a crash?

You seem to assume that this is a problem with an output driver.  Why?
